Paris Design Week & Duvivier Canapé
“Rémanences” Solo show
An exhibition organized with the precious support of Axelle Delorme and Lyse de Quillacq (Artdatings), bringing together the major abstract works of Julia A. Etedi in 2025.
It takes place within Maison Duvivier Canapés, a symbol of French artisanal excellence since 1840.This collaboration emerged as a natural alliance: the encounter between the mastery of handmade craftsmanship and the creative force of contemporary abstract painting.
Joie
Exhibition at the Showroom - Porte B. Gallery Paris
Julia A. Etedi’s exhibition in the showroom space of Galerie Porte B brings together a selection of works from the “Joie” series.
Born from the vital impulse of nature and the resonances it awakens within us, this series extends the artist’s exploration of the invisible and the intangible.
Here, she captures the subtle movements of the world, translating them into vibrational cartographies, fleeting imprints, and traces of memory.
New beginnings
Solo Show at Wilo & Grove in Paris
The series New Beginnings explores the idea of starting anew —quiet beginnings or life-altering shifts, unexpected impulses, and rebirths full of promise.
This theme deeply resonated with me in 2025, as I was navigating a time of profound inner change — at the crossroads of my life as a woman and a mother.
Each canvas carries this sense of renewal — a soft, vibrant energy, at times fragile, at times radiant.
New Beginnings is an ode to those suspended moments when everything feels possible again,
when the heart opens wide, ready to welcome the unknown.
Dans l’appartement d’une collectionneuse
Solo exhibition at Mignon Yu’s apartment in Paris
An Unprecedented Experience
Steeped in artistic history, this apartment carries the imprint of its prestigious past. Once the studio of Arman — the sculptor famous for his accumulations — the space has welcomed emblematic figures of contemporary art. Its walls have witnessed the intimacy of the Putman and Lindbergh families, as well as the genius of Picasso, who created his monumental work Guernica here.
Reimagined by Marion Mailaender, it is now the home of Mignon Yu — an experienced collector and curator — who opens her doors to present a selection of Julia A. Etedi’s works in an intimate and welcoming setting.
A Place, a Story, a Meeting
This exhibition has been conceived as an immersive experience, where the works enter into dialogue with the space and blend naturally into the life of a lived-in interior. Far from the traditional gallery walls, this unprecedented encounter aimed to be both convivial and conducive to meaningful exchange with art collectors.
“Votre monde pendant un instant”
Group show curated by Caroline Boudehen for the Art Month of Cercle de l’Art
Julia A. Etedi is rooted in a sense of timelessness, in deep resonance with nature.
In her works, natural elements become musical vibrations, joyful dances. She treats pigments as sensations, as primal energies binding humanity and nature. Her art explores fervor, euphoria, transcendence — those inner movements that echo the landscapes she shapes. A rolling stone, a fading dune, a cascading waterfall? The form must not be fixed, at the risk of suffocating the impulse.
What she paints is a seismography of the living, a sensitive tracing of both earth and being.
In each of the works presented, the same idea emerges: that of an inner space irrevocably turned outward.
A shifting refuge, both intimate and universal — a personal geography.
A landscape-piece, where every element is alive, considered, felt.Georgia O’Keeffe once said: “When I leave the landscape, it is to go and work with those strange things that I think are made of the same sensations as it.”
When asked about her choice of subjects, she replied: “It is rare that one really takes the time to look at a flower. If you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for the moment.”Caroline Boudehen, exhibition curator
