Julia A. Etedi is a French-Hungarian abstract artist based in Paris. She grew up in an eclectic environment where she developed her artistic skills by experimenting with various media to build a visual language and give shape to emotions when words fall short.

Her paintings explore the subtle bonds weaved between the pictorial translation of imaginary landscapes and the empty spaces, inviting the spectator to inhabit them. Movements anchored in traces allude to the cartography of vibrational landscapes, or to the dazzling marks evoking retinal persistence. While depicting movements in nature, the lines in Julia A. Etedi's artpieces tell us a story. Perhaps a more universal story where language is based on emotions.

Julia A. Etedi est une artiste franco-hongroise ayant grandi et développé sa pratique artistique dans la diaphonie de deux cultures. 

Ces œuvres explorent les subtils liens qui se tissent entre la traduction picturale de territoires imaginaires et des espaces vides où elle invite l'autre à habiter. Les mouvements ancrés dans les traces peuvent évoquer des cartographies de paysages vibratoires, ou encore des empreintes fulgurantes et volatiles suggérant la persistance rétinienne. Ces lignes racontent une histoire, incarnent des chemins parcourus. Une évidence certaine, est qu’elles sont autant de traits d’union entre son pays natal, la France et son pays de coeur, la Hongrie.
